If you’ve ever enjoyed a visit to San Diego, then you know the area is filled
with fun things for people of all ages and interests. We’re 30 miles north of
San Diego Airport – and one million miles away from the smog and congestion of
Los Angeles. The largest town to our north is Carlsbad – home of Legoland. To
our south are the towns of Encinitas and Leucadia that retain a sense of Old
California along scenic highway 101. Still further south is the town of Del Mar
and the famous Del Mar Race Track.
Our beaches offer a variety of activities such as surfing, body boarding,
windsurfing, bird-watching, hiking, kayaking and swimming. Carlsbad State
Beach – immediately north of Sea Bluffe – is life-guarded for your safety.
Walk along the shore or enjoy the mile-long paved walkway above Carlsbad State
Beach that joins the beach at Carlsbad Village Drive. We love the beach and
spend our days beach-combing. If this is your first visit to San Diego then
you will certainly enjoy visiting the San Diego Zoo, The Wild Animal Park, Sea
World and nearby Legoland. Golfers must reserve a tee time at Torrey Pines or
at anyone of the many public courses praised by other guests.
